Introduction
Yuri Arcurs Photography specializes in producing digital stock photography that looks natural and genuine, pictures with character and personality. We try at all costs to avoid producing cheesy looking pictures that look staged or too theatrical - what is often referred to as “stocky content”. We primarily use Scandinavian models and locations and are currently the number one selling microstock photographer in the world, selling more than 400000 individual licenses per year. We are often criticized for having a heavy workflow, spending too much energy and time developing, retouching and perfecting the pictures we produce, and having too big a workforce to be cost-efficient. We consider it to be a matter of personal choice and like to approach every aspect of producing pictures as professionally as possible, whether it be choosing models or locations, setting the light, choosing what equipment to work with, after-editing , etc.
